A Health Coach is a master of guiding the process of habit change.

My coaching philosophy is client-centered. Your health goals are the the focus of our sessions together. You set the destination. I bring the GPS to get you there.

While popular health topics are exercise and movement, (and those are options too), wellness involves our home environment, sleep quality, mindset, stress levels, our faith and more!

WHY DID YOU BECOME A HEALTH COACH?

I have always had a passion to serve and help others. Since I was a teenager, health and holistic living became a priority. As an adult, and now as a mom to five children, I believe even more that we were created to have energy and vitality in our days to thrive. Yet those don’t happen by chance. We need to be intentional to create wellness - in our soul, in our body and in our home! Being a Health Coach gives me the tools to guide you there!

WHAT CERTIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE?

Through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute - I am a certified Health Coach in Pregnancy and Post-partum and a Master Certified Health Coach.

HOW IS COACHING DIFFERENT FROM SEEING A THERAPIST?

The field of health and wellness coaching is rooted in psychology and behavioral change theory and strives to bridge the gap between traditional healthcare treatments, behavioral changes, and lifestyle management. Health Coaches can support clients to choose and develop lifestyle changes that promote mental health and lower stress.

Health Coaches are not mental health professionals, and do not diagnose, treat or prescribe for mental health conditions. Referrals to a mental health professional are made when needed.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MOST PEOPLE TO SEE A CHANGE IN WEIGHT, STRESS LEVELS, MINDSET, ETC.?

Change is a personal journey and can vary from person to person. A Health Coach empowers people with the tools to build success around their well-being. A motivated individual can notice minor changes within the first two to three weeks, when working with a Health Coach. More substantial changes can take anywhere from three to six months.
